**About the Opportunity**

SSI is seeking a **full-time** Marketing Operations Specialist, for our Victoria, BC location who will be responsible for ensuring smooth operational processes are followed and maintained on a day-to-day basis as well as creating data-centric dashboards and reports on the effectiveness of marketing campaigns. They will have a strong track record of improving marketing performance through data-driven decision making and will be able to effectively manage the marketing operations related to multiple campaigns and projects simultaneously. The position is supported by an expert team of Marketing creative and technical specialists. Strong Excel skills and utilizing PowerBI for ongoing data analytics and reporting are key component of the position. Experience with enterprise level CRM systems and content maintenance is required.

As the **Marketing Operations Specialist**, you will be responsible for the following:

- Manage marketing technology stack and work with technology vendors.
- Utilize data and analytics to drive and improve campaign performance by providing insights into campaign optimization, including data acquisition, list segmentation, data cleanliness and integrity within CRM and other databases.
- Work closely with the Marketing team to enhance and optimize campaign engagement and process automation, ensuring correct database segmentation.
- Curate and collate data from various sources using Microsoft PowerBI to provide ongoing metrics in support of marketing campaign effectiveness.
- Assist the SSI Marketing team in the execution of end-to-end campaigns; pulling targeted lists and developing cohesive automated workflows.
- Generate and maintain dynamic reporting dashboards for ongoing contact acquisitions, campaign engagement, data assessment and other special reports.
- Administration of team meetings, creating Jira tasks and stories and coordinating follow-up planning sessions.
- Work with other departments and experts to create connection/workflows using various platforms.
- Support implementation and maintenance of SEO/SEM strategies to improve search engine rankings and drive traffic to the website.

**Qualifications**:

- Strong project management skills, with the ability to provide operational oversight and project management of multiple campaigns and projects simultaneously.
- Degree(s) in Marketing, Communications, or related fields.
- 3+ years of experience in marketing operations, data analysis, and marketing technology platforms
- Experience with Web-based CMS/marketing automation tools and knowledge of Excel
- Data-driven marketer; highly analytical, organized and detail-oriented, self-starter
- Proficient in data analysis tools such as Google Analytics, PowerBI, Tableau, etc.

**Good-to-have skills, education, or experience**:

- Experience working in an ABM B2B environment.
- Experience marketing for the software industry is a plus.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to think creatively and outside of the box.
