**Automotive Parts Outside Sales Rep**

**Position Summary**:
This position is to achieve maximum sales profitability, growth and account penetration within the area by effectively selling the company’s products and or related services.

**Primary Responsibilities**:
As the Outside Sales Representative (OSR) you would be the image, face and voice of NAPA Strathmore. You would be accountable for building and maintaining quality business relationships with existing and new customers by implementing initiatives and promoting NAPA auto parts and programs. The OSR contributes by keeping the owner operator abreast of customer behavior, competitive threats and market trends.
- Call and make in-person visits to existing and prospective customers to sell NAPA auto parts and programs.
- Implement sales development plans and support strategies and objectives re: deployment of marketing programs and promotions.
- Work with store owner and managers to develop sales development plans for growing business with existing customers.
- Gather market intelligence and report service or product issues to store owner.
- Make pricing recommendations on accounts and assist with collections and in ensuring accounts adhere to buying conditions.
- Servicing of customers' inventory and returns
- Expedite the resolution of customer problems and complaints.

**Qualifications**:

- Experience and/or knowledge of the automotive sales market, agricultural and heavy-duty parts.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office: Word, Excel, Power Point and Outlook.
- Sales experience would be considered an asset
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Valid Driver’s license and abstract
- Must be physically able to lift 60 lbs.
