**Position Summary**:
As a Patient Watch Guard, you will be responsible for monitoring patients who may present a danger to themselves or others, ensuring the safety, security, and confidentiality of all stakeholders. This position requires professionalism, excellent communication, and the ability to respond calmly in high-stress situations.

**Responsibilities**:

- Monitor patient safety and report changes to hospital/security staff.
- Ensure safety of patients, staff, and visitors using de-escalation techniques.
- Document and report all incidents, maintaining detailed logs.
- Remain alert, make immediate decisions, and maintain composure in emergencies.
- Handle confidential information with discretion.
- Monitor and screen visitors in a professional manner.

**Requirements**:
**Requirements (Must-Have)**:

- Must live within 1 hour of Redwater, AB.
- Must be willing to travel as needed.
- Must have a clean criminal record.
- Must be at least 18 years old.
- Must be legally authorized to work in Canada.
- Must complete Healthcare Security Training (provided).
- First Aid/CPR Level C certification required (training provided if not currently held).

**Preferred (Assets)**: Basic Security Training, CPI training, or prior security-related experience.
