**The Role**
We are currently looking to add two Spark Watch Attendants to our group for a project in Redwater.

Start Date: Mid-March

Rotation: Monday to Friday, 6:30am to 5:00pm (10 hours/day)

Rate: $20.00/hour

Pay Schedule: Weekly Pay (Friday)

**What You Will Be Doing**
- Ensure safety of other workers at our project
- Follow rules, policies and procedures as per client and company standards
- Monitor designated areas for signs of fire or smoke (generally around welders when welding)
- Know where all safety equipment is located: Fire extinguishers, eye-wash stations, shower units.
- Continuously observing hot work actively for the detection of, and response to, fires during hot work operations

**Requirements**:

- Firewatch Ticket from Energy Canada (course training will be provided by OCL Group)
- High attention to detail. Remain alert and ability to take initiative
- Excellent communication skills
- Must be able to pass a pre-employment Drug and Alcohol test
- Must have reliable transportation to get to/from site
- Positive attitude and team player
- Must be comfortable working in all weather conditions on an industrial site
- Additional tickets: H2S Alive, WHMIS 2015

**Physical Requirements**
Employees will be required to sit, stand, walk, bend, crouch or crawl. Employees should be physically and mentally fit with the ability to do these tasks for 10 hours/day.
