Cleaner - Property Maintenance

Regina, Canada Regina Housing Authority Full time

The Cleaner position is one of Regina Housing's front-line staff. You'll work on site to make sure our properties are in good repair for our clients.

**What you'll do**:

- Outdoor work: lawn care, snow removal, garbage clean up etc.
- General cleaning of common areas, bathrooms, laundry rooms
- Deep cleaning of vacant units in preparation for the next tenant
- Use appropriate cleaning supplies and equipment to ensure effective sanitation.
- Follow established cleaning protocols and safety guidelines to maintain a safe working environment.
- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the supervisor promptly.
- Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and request replenishments as necessary.

**What you'll need**:

- General knowledge of cleaning processes and yard maintenance; previous cleaning experience is an asset
- The ability to communicate with a wide variety of people from all walks of life
- Excellent time management skills and the ability to work independently and juggle multiple priorities
- A love for teamwork and the ability to work well with others
- A valid driver's license and a reliable vehicle
- The ability to provide a clean criminal record check
- Proficiency in English for effective communication.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Fixed term contract
Contract length: 6 months

Pay: $16.56-$18.10 per hour
