**Job Overview**:
As a Medical Report Proofreader, you are crucial to our success, ensuring the precision and reliability of complex medical reports related to Bodily Injury and Catastrophic Impairment. This position requires a high level of proficiency in English writing and editing skills, as it involves daily meticulous review and collaboration with medical professionals.

**Responsibilities**:

- Thoroughly review and edit medical-legal reports to ensure accuracy, consistency, and compliance with legal and regulatory standards.
- Verify grammatical accuracy, consistency of content, and the absence of typographical errors.
- Resolve inconsistencies by liaising with medical assessors for necessary clarifications.
- Manage report submissions in line with Customer Service Level Agreements and internal review procedures.
- Handle client communications professionally to address queries and resolve complaints effectively.

**Qualifications**:

- 1-2 years experience reviewing Bodily Injury or Catastrophic IME Reports is a pre-requisite
- Knowledge of SABS and The AMA Guides
- Proficiency in MS Office and Google Suite; exceptional attention to detail.
- Excellent multitasking and project management skills; capable of thriving in a deadline-driven environment.
- Strong communication skills, comfortable in professional interactions with medical personnel.
- Bachelor’s degree required, preferably in a related field.
- Healthcare Professional designation is an asset.

**Reports To**: Complex Claims Manager

**Hours**: 8am-5pm/8:30am-5:30pm/9am-6pm

**Breaks**: 1-hour unpaid lunch
