Etobicoke, Canada Nephrology Clinic Full time

Operation of front desk, reception, and patient service experience
- Required to answer and return phone calls
- Arrange consultations and follow-up appointments and confirmations
- Coordinate doctor’s schedule with other clinics within EMR
- Liaise with other medical staff in hospital clinics and pharmacies
- Triage faxes and referrals and prepare responding letters and documents
- Filing, faxing, and patient record keeping within EMR
- Updating patient chart information and patient medical records
- Retrieve documents and reports electronically
- Provide administrative support to the primary health physician
- Strong understanding of office procedures is essential and other duties as required

**Requirements**:

- Prior medical experience an asset or willingness to be trained
- Experience with electronic medical records, Accuro EMR an asset
- Demonstrates an ability to interact with patients with compassion and sensitivity
- Provide personalized service to patients
- Good interpersonal and both written and verbal communication skills
- Professional phone etiquette
- Ability to multitask and work independently
- Punctual, organized, ability to coordinate and meet deadlines and work under pressure
- Good typing skills with ability to draft letters and correspondence independently

**Qualification**:

- Secondary School Diploma or equivalent
- Post-Secondary Certificate or Medical Office Administration or equivalent an asset

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: $18.00-$20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 35 - 40 per week

Schedule:

- Monday to Friday
- No weekends

Work Location: In person
