Purchasing & Inventory Coordinator

We’re currently seeking a **Purchasing & Inventory Coordinator** to support our growing operations. This is a key role that ensures we have the materials we need, when we need them — at the best possible price.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Purchase raw materials, packaging, and other supplies needed for production
- Manage inventory levels and perform regular stock checks to avoid shortages or overstocking
- Forecast product and material needs based on production schedules, sales data, and seasonal trends
- Schedule and coordinate deliveries of supplies to ensure timely production
- Negotiate pricing and terms with suppliers to ensure cost-effectiveness and maintain strong vendor relationships
- Work closely with production and sales teams to align supply with operational needs
- Maintain accurate purchasing and inventory records using spreadsheets or inventory software
- Assist in improving systems and processes related to purchasing, inventory, and scheduling

**Qualifications**:

- Previous experience in purchasing, inventory management, or supply chain coordination (preferred)
- Strong negotiation and communication skills
- Excellent organizational and time management abilities
- Proficiency in Excel; experience with inventory or ERP systems is an asset
- Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Detail-oriented, proactive, and solutions-focused
- Interest in local food, agriculture, or sustainability is a plus

Pay: From $22.00 per hour

Expected hours: No more than 40 per week
