Our CASL Surface Technologies division is a corrosion and wear solutions provider with over 25 years of experience, and we are looking to add to our growing team at our Fort Saskatchewan Facility
**Production Supervisor**
Our Production Supervisors are responsible for all activities on our shop floor. They oversee all aspects of production, from planning and organizing to quality control and safety.
As a representative of the Kymera/CASL leadership team they always present a positive attitude, consider the safety and well-being of all team members, and put Kymera’s best interests forward.
**Job responsibilities include, but are not limited to**:
- Ensure Health, Safety and Environmental policies and procedures are adhered to.
- Assist the Production Manager with recruitment.
- Supervise and train employees to ensure they are performing effectively.
- Ensure all equipment is working properly, and coordinate repairs when needed.
- Ensure employees have the training and equipment necessary for their jobs.
- Train workers on new equipment or processes before they are implemented.
- Ensure established and approved work instructions and processes are followed.
- Schedule work shifts to ensure proper staffing levels during all hours of operation.
- Direct and oversee the work of team leads and their respective reports.
- Oversee the production process to ensure efficient operation of equipment.
- Monitor production processes to ensure that they are being followed correctly.
**Other requirements**:
- 2-5 years production supervisory experience
- Excellent knowledge of production planning and quality control principles
- Experience using Microsoft Office Suite
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
- Strong communication skills.
