**Position Job Title: Marketing Coordinator, Recruitment**

**Reports To: Senior Marketing Manager, Recruitment**

**Primary Purpose**

University Canada West is seeking a dynamic and experienced Marketing Coordinator to join our award-winning in-house Marketing and Communications team. This role will report directly to the Senior Marketing Manager, Recruitment and will play a pivotal role in supporting our international and domestic recruitment strategies.

Experience with Educational Agents**: You should have a proven track record of working closely with educational agents. Understanding their needs and effectively collaborating with them is essential.
- ** Deep Understanding of the Education Industry**: A comprehensive understanding of the education sector, including trends, challenges and opportunities, will set you apart. Your insights will contribute to our recruitment strategies.
- ** Technology Proficiency**: Proficiency in Microsoft 365 tools, particularly Word and Teams, is crucial. Familiarity with work management platforms like Asana will be an advantage.
- ** Deadline-Driven and Adaptable**: You thrive under tight deadlines and can adapt to shifting priorities. Your ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously is essential.

**Key Responsibilities**

As our Marketing Coordinator, you will:

- **
Coordinate and Execute Recruitment Marketing**: Collaborate with our in-house recruitment teams to execute marketing requests.
- ** Ensure Brand Consistency**: Work with various University departments and stakeholders to maintain brand consistency across all marketing channels.
- ** Compliance and Policy Adherence**: Address compliance issues related to international and domestic educational recruitment. Ensure adherence to university policies and procedures.
- ** Support Recruitment Events**: Assist with on-campus agent visits, in-person and online recruitment events, webinars and school visits.
- ** Timely Delivery**: Deliver marketing requests promptly and contribute to day-to-day marketing and recruitment activities.

**Position Requirements**

**Competencies**:

- Proven experience working with student recruitment agencies.
- Demonstrated sales/recruitment/liaison experience.
- Comprehensive understanding of various marketing channels and online strategies.
- Exceptional attention to detail.
- Excellent interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills.
- Proficiency in creating, editing, and promoting written and visual content.
- Expertise with social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn, TikTok, and YouTube).
- Experience supporting online and in-person events.
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge of GDPR and CASL legislation.
- Experience with Salesforce.

**Education and Experience**:

- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
- Prior marketing experience, especially in the Canadian post-secondary education sector.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Team player with the ability to work independently.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and marketing software tools.
- Working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite is a plus.
- Flexibility to work occasional early mornings, evenings, and weekends.
