Ophthalmology Office Manager/surgical Coordinator

Busy ophthalmology practice is seeking Office Manager/Surgical Coordinator.
We are happy to train the right person thus previous experience while helpful is not required.
Your responsibilities will be divided into:
1. Surgical bookings. You will be responsible for patient counselling, help with selection of intraocular lenses, performing diagnostic testing to determine intraocular lenses, booking patients into a hospital system/province-wide wait time management program. Extensive training will be provided in order to achieve all required competencies.
2. Office manager. You will be responsible for all human resource management of an office and help with hiring new employees and will directly supervise all office employees. You will deal with various unexpected issues that come up on a daily basis (solving IT issues by contacting IT support/solving equipment issues by contacting various equipment manufacturers, etc). You will work closely with all the physicians in the office in order to support their practices.
