Job Title: Health Care Aide: hiring for Rural south areas: Okotoks, High river, De Winton Diamond valley, Foothills County, AB.

**Duties**:

- Provide assistance with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, and grooming.
- Administer medications as prescribed by healthcare professionals.
- Assist with mobility and transfers, using proper lifting techniques.
- Monitor and record vital signs, such as blood pressure and temperature.
- Provide companionship and emotional support to clients.
- Assist with meal preparation and feeding.
- Perform light housekeeping tasks to maintain a clean and safe environment.
- Follow care plans and communicate any changes in the client's condition to the appropriate healthcare professionals.
- Provide specialized care for clients with dementia or other cognitive impairments.
- Collaborate with other healthcare team members to ensure comprehensive care for clients.

**Skills**:

- Nurse or nursing assistant experience is preferred.
- Knowledge of dementia care techniques and strategies.
- Experience in home care or assisted living settings.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting and physical tasks as required.
- Proficient in medication administration and documentation.
- Strong caregiving skills and a compassionate nature.
- Familiarity with the needs of individuals in nursing home or assisted living facilities.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
