**Responsibilities**:

- Assemble new compressors, and other mechanical components
- Follow current Drawings and BOM’s when assembling product
- Rebuild and repair products where required
- Identify and correct bottlenecks
- Improve efficiency and quality assembly processes
- Capable of reading detailed assembly drawings
- Follow Production Schedule and prioritize daily work accordingly - communicate any bottlenecks or flow problems to your supervisor
- Test and identify all assembled Products where required
- Liaise with VMAC internal department in a timely manner to ensure adequate supply of parts
- Report on scrap, stock damage, shrinkage, and inventory inaccuracies
- Monitor inventory levels and report on outages, low or overstock quantities
- Ensure the efficient and economical utilization of facilities for storing and distributing goods
- Participate in periodic physical inventory counts
- Participate in the development and implementation of department objectives

**Qualifications and Experience**:

- Assertive self-starter and excellent work ethic
- Excellent English written and verbal communication skills
- High energy level with ability to work independently and in a team environment
- High School Diploma or college/vocational or technical training and experience an asset
- 1 Years of experience in relevant field
- General mechanic knowledge an asset
- Capable of reading detailed assembly drawings
- Must be comfortable in a fast-paced work environment and possess good interpersonal skills

Physical Requirements

Working conditions are normal for a manufacturing environment. Work may involve lifting of materials and product up to 30 pounds. Working in this environment requires the use of safety equipment to include but not limited to; eye safety glasses, hearing protectors and work boots.

Covid-19 Safety Plan in place.
