The incumbent of this position oversees the activities of his work team in addition to performing a technical leadership role within the electronic technician team. He provides supervision so that the team's technical solutions have consistency within the different projects.

In addition, he actively participates in the development of new products as well as the improvement of existing products. These products are mainly inspection equipment for the non-destructive field.

**RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Supervise employees;
- Perform the employee performance process;
- Work closely with other departments of the company to maintain effective interdepartmental management;
- Improve team performance;
- Technical training of employees;
- Participate in the improvement of methods in the team;
- Participate in the capture of electronic diagrams and the verification of printed circuit boards;
- Participate in the assembly (mechanical and electronic) and start-up of prototypes;
- Assist the project team during product validation testing;
- Support the development team at the electronic and mechanical level;
- Document the manufacture of assembled products (assembly procedure, test procedure, bill of materials, plans);
- Ensure the transfer to production of new products (training on new products, relevant documentation, supervision of the integration of new products into production);
- Update production documentation when changes occur.

**REQUIREMENTS**
- Degree in electronics or related discipline;
- Minimum eight years of relevant experience;
- Intermediate English;
- Autonomous, rigorous, and detail-oriented;
- Customer service oriented;
- Good communication skills and ability to work in a team ;
- Knowledge of non-destructive inspection (NDT) techniques is an asset;
- Knowledge of Altium software is an asset;
- Ability to write procedures clearly, concisely and to popularize methods and concepts;
- Excellent ability to manage priorities;
- Good knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite.
