**SPUD.ca **is looking for a **f**ull time Inventory Coordinator** **to join our growing team in **Burnaby, BC**. The schedule for this position is **Monday to Thursday.**
The Inventory Coordinator is a front-line warrior They ensure that all our Inventory Team Members have the training, tools, conviction, and support to provide a world-class experience to our customers. They love to be in the thick of it and relish the opportunity to tackle new challenges each day.
SPUD.ca is an online grocery delivery business in Western Canada. **Responsibilities**:
- Lead the daily inventory activities
- Training and day-to-day performance coaching of Inventory Team Members
- Sync meetings
- Monitor and report on Inventory KPIs
- Assist with hiring, discipline, and payroll for Inventory Team Members
- Engage and develop the team through coaching, support, and regular feedback
- Lead with positivity and empathy, while ensuring that team members respect their peers and the requirements of their positions
- Help develop new procedures and improvements to current procedures
- Seek out and engage in opportunities to further personal leadership development
- Other duties as assigned
- Experience working in inventory control & management
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Attention to detail
- Desire to actively problem solve and think creatively to improve processes and complete tasks daily
- Experience working in a team environment
- History of working with food, either in a service, retail, or production role, and strong understanding of food safety and quality control processes
