Master Planner

The Master Planner reports to the Demand and Operational Planning Manager and is responsible to work cross-functionally in a multi-site environment to ensure our customer satisfaction commitment is up to standards. It includes developing the production schedules, managing the inventory to maintain appropriate levels, and coordinate the availability of raw materials. This role is focused on managing production schedules, optimizing capacity utilization, and analyzing and reporting on actual customer demand, trends and forecast, and adjust capacity plans accordingly.
- **Key Responsibilities**_
- Translate projected forecasts, incoming volume, and work scopes into a production plan with a time-phased build schedule.
- Work with customer base to determine weekly inbound forecast and develop consumption models to improve accuracy.
- Establish key performance indicators of forecast accuracy. Ensure the interaction of a firm’s functional managers, and track and maintain the forecast through timely and accurate feedback.
- Schedule demand based on the product mix and provide accurate commitment dates to customer service team across multiple product lines.
- Assemble master schedule reporting regarding performance to the business plan, the shipment plan, the inventory plan, and the production plan.
- Provide input to finance on operating plans for the sales and operations planning (S&OP) process, concerning incoming volume and capacity.
- Identify current planned level of demand and create tactical production plans to meet the identified customer demand. Calculate production lead times.
- Establish reporting to determine labor and productivity performance statistics.
- Establish, measure, monitor, and adjust capacity levels to execute all manufacturing schedules.
- Engage in capacity management during sales and operations planning, master scheduling, materials requirements planning, and production activity control.
- **Qualifications & Experience**_
- 5+ years of relevant Supply Chain planning experience
- At least 3 years as a Master Planner
- Bachelor Degree in Operations Management, Supply Chain, Industrial Engineering
- Thorough and in-depth knowledge of ERP Systems, Master Production Scheduling, Production Planning, and Capacity Planning
- Knowledge of Power Bi required
- Experience leading a team
- Bilingual; excellent communication skills in both English and French
- Proven track record of improving process efficiencies, and as a change agent
- Demonstrated track record of ability to work with, and through, people from diverse backgrounds to deliver business objectives.
