**Job Summary**:
**Coating Operator**, in **Nisku, Alberta**, will be responsible for the internal coating of used tubulars and related goods. Work is physical in nature and includes tasks such as: cleaning, blasting, and coating pipe, operating an overhead crane and related equipment.

**Essential Job Responsibilities**:

- You will mentor trainees, follow basic safety rules and applicable safe work practices and procedure.
- Report any accidents, incidents, near misses or hazards in the workplace.
- Equipment operation, set-up, and adjustment in a safe manner.
- Ensure safety of co-workers and safe work requirements.
- Authority to correct improper work habits of trainees and stop assigned work activities if unsafe conditions exist.
- Other duties as assigned.

**Qualification Requirements**:

- High school education with the ability to read, write and speak a minimum amount of English to perform job duties
- Class 5 Driver’s License in good standing
- Strong communication skills and a commitment to customer service
- Standard First Aid and H2S Alive training preferred
- **Previous Coating experience is an ASSEST**

**HSE Requirements**:

- Work is performed in a shop environment. Possibility to be exposed to dust, fumes or gases and changes of temperature/humidity.
- Physical requirements: squatting, bending, reaching, twisting, lifting up to 23 kilograms, walking on rough ground, and working near moving equipment.
- Required to at all times wear proper protective clothing and equipment and perform duties in a safe manner.
