**Insulation Installer Assistant**

**We are currently seeking a motivated individual to join our Insulation Team as the Installation Installer Assistant.**

This is a great opportunity to learn about the Insulation trade, it provides a lot of opportunity for growth and development. This role will provide insulation services to clients throughout Northumberland County and surrounding areas.

**Your Role**:
Reporting to the Insulation Manager, the Insulation Installer Assistant be responsible for assisting the insulation installers with the completion of commercial and residential projects, including but not limited to the following:

- Air barrier systems and transition membranes
- Interior and exterior insulation installation
- Attic insulation
- Flat roof insulation
- Slope insulation
- Basement insulation
- Wall insulation with cellulose and foam
- Exterior wall air barrier and insulation systems
- Air sealing, including weather-stripping on doors
- Measure and cut materials and coverings to the required shape and dimension
- Remove insulation and debris from homes
- Assist with job preparations and finishing work as required
- Assist with paperwork as required.

**Qualifications we are looking for**:

- Completion of high school secondary diploma or equivalent
- Physically able to meet the bona fide occupational requirements of the role
- Valid Driver’s license with proof of 3 years driving history and clean driver’s abstract
- Previous work-related experience is a large asset
- Effective written and oral communication skills
- Strong interpersonal skills to communicate with clients and work within a small team
- Analytical and problem-solving skills
- Work well under pressure
- Experience with hand tools
- Ability to work in different types of weather conditions, at heights and in confined spaces
- Working at heights and in confined spaces training an asset.
