IT Technician

Alteo is looking for an IT Technician for a permanent position based in Montreal.

**Responsibilities**:

- Ensure the proper functioning of computer systems (hardware and software)
- Identify, track, document and analyze incident/problem resolution activities
- Document and implement IT procedures and processes
- Collaborate in the update and implementation of computer and office automation tools
- Provide IT training to employees
- Participate in various IT projects
- Participate in training to keep up to date on current and emerging technologies

**Profile**:

- AEC/DEC in computer science or equivalent
- 2-5 years experience in an IT Technician position (L1/L2 support)
- Good general knowledge of the Windows environment. Knowledge of the following technologies is an important asset
- Active Directory / Azure AD and Windows permissions management
- Microsoft Cloud, Office 365, Teams, Sharepoint
- Windows servers, SQL servers, terminal server
- Hyper-V virtualization, VMware
- Windows and other event logs
- Network hardware (hubs, switches, routers, etc.) and network management tools
- Experience in a multi-site environment (asset)
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills
- Strong change management skills, excellent time and priority management
- Customer service and teamwork orientation
- Initiative, resourcefulness, thoroughness and discretion
- Bilingual French English (oral and written)

Alteo est à la recherche d'un Technicien TI pour un poste permanent basé à Montréal.

Responsabilités:

- Assurer le bon fonctionnement des systèmes informatiques (matériel et logiciels)
- Fournir un soutien technique aux employés (sur place, par courriel et par téléphone) pour toutes les technologies utilisées par l’entreprise (support de niveau 1 & 2)
- Identifier, suivre, documenter et analyser les activités de résolution d’incidents ou de problèmes
- Documenter et mettre en œuvre les procédures et processus des TI
- Collaborer à la mise à jour et à l’implantation d’outils informatiques et bureautiques
- Donner de la formation TI aux employés
- Participer à divers projets informatiques
- Participer à des formations pour se tenir à jour sur les technologies actuelles et émergentes

Profil:

- AEC/DEC en informatique ou l’équivalent
- 2-5 ans d’expérience dans un poste de Technicien TI (support N1/N2)
- Bonnes connaissances générales de l'environnement Windows. La connaissance des technologies suivantes sont un atout important:

- Active Directory / Azure AD et gestion de permissions Windows
- Cloud Microsoft, Office 365, Teams, Sharepoint
- Serveurs Windows, serveurs SQL, terminal Server
- Hyper-V virtualization, VMware
- Journaux d’évènements Windows et autres
- Matériels réseaux (hubs, commutateurs, routeurs, etc.) et outils de gestion de réseaux
- Expérience dans un environnement multi-sites (atout)
- Forte capacité d’analyse et résolution de problèmes
- Forte capacité en gestion du changement, excellente gestion du temps et des priorités
- Orientation sur le service à la clientèle et le travail d’équipe
- Initiative, débrouillardise, rigueur et discrétion
- Bilingue français anglais (oral et écrit)
