- Develop your full potential, sustainably**Embrace your true self** by unfolding your expertise within our Cascades Containerboard Packaging - Vaughan division, with the support of Inder Singh (Maintenance Manager)- Your challenge- Ensure parts and supplies on hand comply with safety regulations and policies, and reviewed with the JHSC, as appropriate
- Ensure all R&M parts, materials and production supplies are purchased at competitive prices and delivery times
- Ensure purchase requisitions are converted into purchase orders, and follow-up on open PO’s according to estimated delivery times
- Prioritize parts and materials and co-ordinate with production and maintenance to make efficient use of production and maintenance time
- Establish strategic relationships with suppliers and ensure compliance of required performance indicators
- Build, maintain and analyze order history and inventory of parts and materials, ensuring min/max are set to appropriate levels based on consumption
- Assess and adjust inventory levels, cycle counts and month-end process
- Monitor critical parts inventory in collaboration with other divisions

**Desired Experience and Skills**
- Direct relative experience and knowledge to accurately coordinate purchasing activities
- In-depth knowledge of parts, equipment and manufacturing
- Ability to ensure accuracy and monitor quality of work while honoring commitments
- Ability to assess a situation, take initiative, be proactive and propose solutions
- Ability to collaborate with others, be a team member, listen and communicate effectively
- Ability to establish effective working relationships and networks of people
- Ability to plan and organize activities in order to meet organizational objectives
- Ability to prioritize and adapt while meeting all budget and time requirements
- Proficient use of various computer programs (SAP, Ariba, Guide TI, MS Office)
