Auto Parts Counter Person/driver

**Accel Auto Parts **is a local supplier of automotive parts in Markham, Ontario. We have an extensive catalog of parts ranging from performance to OEM replacements. We also offer delivery services and service many local garages.

We are currently seeking ambitious & capable individuals to join our growing team

**What will I be doing at Accel Auto Parts?**
- Respond to telephone and written inquiries regarding sales order verification, order status, price negotiations, order processing & cancellations, issuing refunds, handling returns, and resolving escalated complaints.
- Ensure a high level of technical support knowledge by resolving issues with care and attention to customers’ needs.
- Resolves problems immediately within the authority and refers to the Manager for additional support as needed.
- Support Store Manager to ensure daily tasks and projects are completed in a timely manner.
- Safely and efficiently operate a delivery vehicle to transport goods to customers.
- Load and unload products from the vehicle using appropriate equipment.
- Verify the accuracy of delivery orders and ensure that all items are accounted for.
- Provide excellent customer service by delivering products in a timely and professional manner.
- Communicate with customers to confirm delivery details and address any concerns or issues.
- Follow all traffic laws and safety regulations while operating the delivery vehicle.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the delivery vehicle.
- Be a part of a dynamic and diverse team.

**What is required of me?**
- Successful completion of a Secondary School diploma and/or training in automotive sales
- Minimum 1-year experience in customer service or related field
- Demonstrated knowledge of complaint and conflict resolution
- Demonstrated problem-solving and decision-making skills
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Previous experience in commercial driving or delivery is preferred
- Ability to operate a forklift and other warehouse equipment safely and efficiently
- Strong communication skills to interact with customers and team members effectively
- Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physical tasks such as moving and loading/unloading products
- Excellent time management skills to ensure timely deliveries
- Attention to detail to verify the accuracy of delivery orders
- Ability to work independently with mínimal supervision
- Strong written and verbal communication skills to respond to customer inquiries
- Proven ability to work in a team-based environment where teamwork is paramount
- Multilingualism (preferred)

- Full-time position
- Must be available from Monday to Friday 9:00 AM - 6:00 PM. Weekend availability is preferred.
- Training is on a full-time basis and consists of on-the-job training.
