**SUMMARY**:
Staybridge Suites Oakville is dedicated to delivering a warm, comfortable, and welcoming experience for every guest. We are looking for a reliable, skilled, and service-oriented Maintenance Technician to join our team and help keep our hotel operating at its best.

**Position Overview**:
**Key Responsibilities**:
**Guest Room & Public Area Maintenance**
- Perform general repairs in guest rooms and public spaces (plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, painting, appliances).
- Troubleshoot and resolve maintenance issues reported by guests or staff.
- Ensure all suites and common areas meet brand standards.

**Preventative Maintenance**
- Complete scheduled PMs on equipment, guest rooms, and building systems.
- Inspect mechanical systems such as boilers, HVAC units, water heaters, fire panels, and emergency equipment.

**Safety & Compliance**
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
- Follow all hotel, brand, and corporate safety procedures.
- Support fire safety systems, including alarm panels, sprinklers, and emergency response protocols.

**General Support**
- Assist with snow removal, seasonal tasks, and grounds maintenance.
- Support housekeeping or front desk teams when necessary.
- Work independently and prioritize tasks efficiently.

**Qualifications**:

- Previous experience in hotel maintenance or building maintenance (preferred).
- Basic knowledge of plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and general repairs.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Good communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to work evenings, weekends, or on-call as needed.
