**Job description**

**Maintenance Manager/Technician**

**Skills**
- knowledge in installations, operations, maintenance and repair of various mechanical and electrical processes
- Experience with any hotel preventive maintenance management system.
- knowledge and experience in building preventive and corrective maintenance
- Knowledge and experience in maintenance of swimming pool, PTAC and other HVAC system by cleaning filters and other parts to maintain the highest functioning capacity.
- Ability to perform/initiate regular and scheduled fire drill
- Ability to adhere and advance knowledge on regulations and safety standards which pertains to Fire Code
- Knowledge and skills in swimming pool operations and maintenance.
- Knowledge and experience in drywall repair, wall painting and wallpaper repair.
- Knowledge in troubleshooting or repairing electro-mechanical devices of washing machine, dryers, control of emergency light units.
- The chief engineer will coordinate and supervise projects with contractors and vendors.
- Ability to responsively respond to emergency after hours.
- Ability to work on holidays and weekends or as required
- Ability to lead and train other workers.
- Knowledge on reading electronic schematic diagrams and construction blueprint is a plus but not a requirement.
- Knowledge and experience in troubleshooting and repair of PTAC/VTAC UNITS, MAU
- Ability to adhere to CSA and OHSA and enforce workers safety and building safety standards.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

**What we need from you**

**Requirements**:
Education: High school graduate or equivalent. Must be able to speak, read, write, and understand English, the primary language used in the workplace.

Computer literate, also must use mobile app.

Experience**:Previous hotel-related experience desired.**

Physical: Requires grasping, standing, walking, repetitive motions, hearing, visual acuity, and may on occasion require lifting and carrying up to 40 pounds.

Physical Aspects of Position (include but are not limited to):

- Constant standing and walking throughout shift
