Our Member is seeking an experienced **Site Supervisor / Foreman - Pre-Engineered Metal Building System Erector, Steel Erector **to add to our expanding team. As a Site Supervisor/Foreman you will be responsible to oversee, task, plan and manage a crew of 6-10 workers who will be participating in the erection of a Pre-Engineered Metal Building. Responsibilities may include the installation of a steel structure, metal wall panels (cladding), roofing systems, and various insulation. The Site Supervisor will be responsible for the day-to-day activities on the construction site ensuring high standards of safety, workmanship, and efficiency. The Site Supervisor will report directly to the General Manager and/or Project Manager.

**Job Duties**:

- Monitor and report progress on site directly to the General Manager and/or Project Manager to ensure project completion is on schedule and on budget
- Organize, supervise, and manage a crew of up to 10 employees
- Encourage a teamwork environment and maintain a positive atmosphere
- Coordinate daily site activities with sub-trades and General Contractor
- Visualize the project as a whole and anticipate constructability issues
- Embed solutions within project plans/schedule
- Effectively problem-solve in a timely manner
- Understand when to escalate issues to General Manager and/or Project Manager
- Completion of daily work reports, task planning, on-site meetings, and H&S documents
- Be safety-oriented with a thorough understanding of site H&S requirements
- Identification and documentation of unsafe conditions or acts and ensuring crew are following applicable standards
- Perform typical Pre-Engineered Building Erector duties including working at heights, installation of building steel, components, insulation, roof, wall panels, and trims
- Utilize a crane to hoist building components

**Qualification Requirements**:

- **Minimum 5 years’ experience in Metal Building System Erection / Ironworking**:

- Previous experience in a foreman/management role. **(2 years+)**:

- Strong familiarity and capability of rigging techniques for steel erection
- Proficient in the use of All Terrain Forklifts / Telehandlers
- Positive attitude, self-starter with the desire to achieve
- Ability to communicate, comprehend and relay verbal and written instructions to workers
- Understanding of current provincial legislation pertaining to provincial health and safety procedures and fairness practices
- Ability to work at heights for extended periods from EWP & structure beyond EWP
- Thorough knowledge and understanding of construction drawings, specifications, schedules, components, methods, and procedures for pre-engineered metal building system erection
- Ability to work in all types of weather for extended periods
- Holds a valid G-class driver's license and owns a vehicle
- Basic work boots, hard hat, and personal tools
- EWP, AT Forklift, First Aid, Working at Heights, WHIMIS (Supervisor courses and any other relevant training will be viewed favorably)

**Schedule**:

- 10-hour shift
- Day shift
- Monday to Friday
- Overtime
