We are seeking an experienced Environmental Health & Safety (EHS) Manager to lead and enhance our EHS programs across multiple facilities. This role is responsible for identifying and assessing EHS issues, driving continuous improvement through preventative programs, and ensuring compliance through investigations, training, and education. The EHS Manager provides expert guidance on daily operations and develops policies and procedures that promote a safe, healthy, and environmentally responsible workplace, supporting locations including MCI Winnipeg, Pembina, and the Montreal Service Center.

**Requirements**:

- Lead and continuously improve emergency response, hazard control, and health & safety programs, including inspections, exposure assessments, and hands-on EHS support.
- Oversee workers' compensation claims, including reporting, administration, and return-to-work processes.
- Manage health surveillance programs (e.g., hearing tests, respirator fit tests), lead JHSC initiatives, and support ISO 14001/45001 management system improvements and audits.
- Ensure thorough completion of EHS investigations, including root cause analysis, corrective actions, and adherence to policies and procedures.
- Provide expert guidance on facility and production initiatives to ensure compliance with evolving EHS regulations.
- Develop and deliver EHS training and certification programs tailored to operational needs.
- Drive proactive EHS program enhancements and collaborate across locations to standardize practices, share best practices, and harmonize management systems.
- Oversee waste management systems and ensure compliance with environmental permits, reporting, and hazardous material handling.
- Analyze EHS performance data and reports to identify trends and areas for improvement.
- Lead the implementation and maintenance of a comprehensive Laser Safety program.
- Provide operational leadership and day-to-day support for security personnel.

**WHAT YOU NEED TO BE SUCCESSFUL**:

- Previous leadership experience with a minimum of 3-5 years experience working in an EHS role within manufacturing.
- Degree or certification in Occupational Safety & Health; CRSP designation or eligibility preferred
- Strong knowledge of OSHA regulations and general industry hygiene standards
- First aid training and understanding of emergency response protocols
- Experience planning, conducting, and tracking EHS compliance and hazard assessments
- Proficient in Job Safety Analysis (JSA), Job Assessments (JA), and gap analysis
- Skilled in developing, delivering, and evaluating effective EHS training programs
