**Job Overview**

**Duties**
- Prepare breakfast, and lunch items, make soups and chili
- Create a variety of deli sandwiches, wraps and subs/paninis and soups daily
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including workstations, utensils, and equipment.
- Adhere to food safety standards and regulations to ensure the health and safety of all food served.
- Collaborate with other cafe staff to ensure timely meal service and efficient workflow.
- Monitor inventory levels of food supplies and report any shortages or needs to management.
- Serve meals, complete panini sandwiches and maintain a friendly, fast and efficient demeanor with customers.

**Requirements**:

- Previous experience in a restaurant or food service environment is preferred. Catering experience a bonus
- Strong knowledge of cooking techniques and meal preparation methods.
- Familiarity with food safety practices and proper food handling procedures.
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment while maintaining individual responsibilities.
- Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail in food preparation tasks.
- Shifts are Monday to Friday, starting at 6am. No evenings or weekends required Join us as we create delicious meals that bring joy to our customers Your skills in food preparation will play a vital role in our kitchen's success.

Pay: $16.00-$20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 35 - 40 per week
