**Who are we looking for?**

We are seeking an experienced Cafe Lead who will be responsible for accurately processing customer transactions, handling payments, and providing excellent service, as well as assisting in managing our Cafe.

**Responsibilities**:

- Support daily Cafe operations while supervising the Cafe Associates, ensuring accountability and optimizing team performance.
- Train staff, ensuring adherence to policies and procedures.
- Provide excellent customer service by greeting customers, taking orders, and answering questions about menu items
- Prepare and serve a variety of coffee beverages and other menu items according to recipes and customer preferences
- Ensure the cleanliness and organization of the cafe, including the serving area, dining tables, and equipment
- Maintain stock levels to ensure smooth operations
- Uphold food safety and hygiene standards by following proper food handling procedures and cleaning protocols
- Lead and collaborate with team members to maintain a positive work environment and contribute to a cohesive team dynamic
- Assist with opening and closing duties, including setting up the cafe for the day, restocking supplies, and cleaning up at the end of the day
- Address customer concerns or complaints promptly and professionally, striving to resolve issues to their satisfaction

**Requirements**:

- Previous experience in a customer service or retail environment environment
- Previous experience as a supervisor or similar role in a customer service or retail environment is an asset
- Familiarity with operating a cash register or point-of-sale system
- Strong communication skills and the ability to interact with customers and team members in a friendly and professional manner
- Attention to detail to ensure accuracy in processing transactions.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
- Knowledge of products and services offered by the store may be beneficial but not always required
- Flexibility to work varying shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
