The Registrar Office Administrator works to provide leadership and expertise to the campus and is responsible for managing the day-to-day functioning of the Campus, which include admissions, registration, registrar services, student information systems, student records, scheduling, financial aid and graduation.
**Responsibilities**:
Specifically, the Registrar Office Administrator will be responsible for:
- Organizing and administering the records, registration and graduation functions of the Registrar’s Office
- Maintaining accurate and timely student information in the student database and hard copy files to support registration and record keeping requirements
- Assisting with the assignment and recording of transfer credits
- Managing Datawitness for dropped and graduated students
- Acting in a manner that upholds the College standards
- Performing other job duties as assigned
**Qualifications**
To be successful in the Registrar Office Administrator position, an individual must be committed to developing, maintaining and demonstrating the following:
**Education and Experience**:
- Degree or diploma from a recognized university or post-secondary institution
- Minimum three years of direct experience or five years of related experience at a regulated post-secondary institution.
**Skills and Abilities**:
- Experienced with managing multiple projects within a rapidly changing environment
- Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to effectively communicate and interact with all individuals
- Excellent oral and written communication ability
- Ability to act with tact, good judgment, and discretion; maintaining confidentiality of files, personal information, and other matters, as appropriate
- Regularly reviews systems, processes, and procedures in order to identify
- Ability to complete work in a timely manner with accuracy and attention to detail to processes and documentation
- Proven ethical and objective decision making and problem solving abilities
- Ability to plan and adapt to change
- A positive attitude and customer focused approach
