SORSYS is a custom industrial automation provider that provides automated inspection machinery for part and component manufacturers in different segments of industry including automotive, food, pharmaceutical, plastic, and diecast manufacturing. The Universal Inspection Machine, RT series, is our main group of standard products that bundles up all quality inspection needs into ONE integrated modular system. SORSYS’s universal inspection solution integrates all of the manufacturers’ inspection requirements and procedures of multiple component types into ONE single automated system.
We are searching for a driven technical sales executive to join our dynamic team. The technical sales executive would have a clear understanding of the components of the industrial automation and automated inspection and the ability to demonstrate the features and functionality of the machines in different industries. Your responsibilities will include establishing the needs of the customer and recommending and demonstrating products.
To be a successful technical sales executive, you should be able to develop an excellent rapport with your existing customers and source new clients. A top-notch technical sales executive would be knowledgeable about competing products and should have the ability to break down technical terminology to non-technical clients.
**Key Responsibilities**:
- Analyzing customers' automation and inspection needs and recommending products
- Discussing solutions with customers and explaining technical concepts simply
- Writing reports and proposals for vendors or clients related to technical products
- Finding new customers and creating a sales relationship with potential buyers
- Building relationships with clients and encouraging long-term buyers
- Connecting with customers after a sales pitch to answer questions or provide advice
- Making sales pitches at tradeshows or conference events to persuade an audience to buy an item
- Meeting sale quotas and commission goals
- Traveling to meet with vendors or to lead instructional demonstrations for a product
- Tracking sales and sharing sales information with a manager or team lead
- Researching the current market trends and learning about new technology products
**Required Skills and Experience**:
- Degree in engineering, business, or a related field.
- 2+ years of sales experience, preferably in the field of automation
- Technical knowledge and a comprehensive understanding of how the company products work.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- The ability to identify and follow up on leads.
- Exceptional skills in selling products and closing deals.
- Knowledge of sales promotion techniques.
- Excellent presentation skills and a professional appearance.
**Salary**: From $80,000.00 per year
