Summary of Position Functions
The Production Associate will work with a busy production team assembling parts and units to be built up into finished goods then inspected, tested, packed and shipped off to customers.
**Essential Position Functions**
- Ability to use different tools and equipment to assemble units as directed
- Ability to read and interpret drawings, blueprints, sketches and verbal & written instructions of engineers and then to assemble the parts or products
- Assembling bracketry, frames and/or perform minor soldering of component parts to boards or connectors
- Rejecting non-conforming parts during the process of assembly and test of the assembled parts or products to ensure that they are functioning properly and are of good quality
- Performing standard assembly procedures, performing rework and repairing on manufactured equipment and products
- Following established safety procedures
- Following directions carefully, requiring basic English reading skills
- Must possess manual dexterity and good eyesight
- Able to perform repetitive tasks and complete deadlines as required
- Some Lifting and movement of parts or carts is expected
- Other duties from time to time around the manufacturing factory.
