**Position Summary**:
Reporting to the Director, Finance, the incumbent provides high-level accounting services for the organization.

**Duties & Responsibilities**:

- Prepare quarterly reports for board meetings
- Provide accounting, accounting system and financial project assistance to staff
- Establish month end deadlines and ensure timely reporting
- Responsible for financial reporting for management and project reporting
- Create custom and ad hoc reports for all centres
- Coordinate the maintenance and system requirements with the accounting system provider
- Create, review and approve journal entries
- Draft audit financial statements
- Coordinate and prepare audits

**Knowledge, Skills and Abilities**:

- Training in GAAP considered an asset
- Experience in working with computerized accounting system and project accounting systems
- Advanced skills of Microsoft Office Suites and relational database
- Supervisory skills

**Qualifications**:

- Commerce or Administration degree with specialization in accounting
- CPA designation is preferred
- Minimum 5 years of experience within a similar position
