**Responsibilities**:
1. Financial Reporting
- Prepare financial statements, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
- Ensure compliance with financial reporting standards and regulations.
- Present financial reports to management and stakeholders.
- Post journal entries and reconcile accounts, and maintain general ledgers.
2.Budgeting and Forecasting
- Develop and manage the organization's annual budget.
- Monitor and analyze financial performance against the budget.
- Provide financial forecasts and projections to support strategic planning.
3.Compliance and Auditing
- Ensure compliance with tax regulations and financial laws.
- Coordinate and oversee internal and external audits.
- Implement and maintain internal controls to safeguard the organization's assets.
4.Financial Analysis
- Conduct financial analysis to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for cost savings.
- Provide recommendations for improving financial performance.
- Analyze investment opportunities and risks.
- Manage progress reports.
5.Risk Management
- Identify financial risks and develop strategies to mitigate them.
- Ensure the organization has adequate insurance coverage.
- Manage the organization's debt and investments portfolios.
6.Other duties may include:
- Manage A/R & A/P
- Oversee the day to day financial operations of the organization.
**Qualifications**:
- CPA is an asset
- Completion of secondary school and/or 2-5 years of experience in a related field
**Job Types**: Full-time, Fixed term contract
Contract length: 17 months
Pay: $65,000.00-$110,000.00 per year
