**Job Description**:
AECOM is searching for a Field Technician Lead for a full-time position based in our Kitchener, ON office supporting projects/teams across south western Ontario.
The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:
- Conduct tasks relating to field investigations including (but not limited to) flow monitoring, water and soils sampling, and Site assessments/inspections safely and effectively.
- Complete on-site work including downloading and transmitting data, gathering photographs, videos, and other required information according to set standards.
- Thoroughly document that site conditions and work is completed, and submit required reports.
- Install and perform operational maintenance and troubleshooting of various equipment within sanitary sewers and other locations.
- Occasionally coordinate with clients and handle any complaints from the public or other stakeholders onsite positively and respectfully.
- Clean, organize, secure, and keep in good working condition own tools and equipment.
- Assist other crews in the field as directed.
**Qualifications**:
**Minimum Requirements**:
- Ideally 6+ years of experience in the Civil Engineering field (previous consulting engineering experience is considered an asset)
- AutoCAD experience
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office software
- OACETT Certification (C.Tech or C.E.T.)
- Can perform work according to changing work schedules, weather conditions, and work locations (Southern/Eastern Ontario).
- Can carry necessary equipment to and from vehicle to warehouse storage area and short distances to worksites
- Familiarity with standard Microsoft Office and communication software such as Outlook and Teams
- Has a valid G category license

- 10+years of experience

- Ability to prioritize deadlines, track status and facilitate progress on multiple projects.
- Resilient under pressure

- Strong safety mindset
- Good communication skills
- Experience and good aptitude working with tools, gadgets, and equipment are a plus
- Surveying experience and working knowledge of GIS and AutoCAD software is a plus
