**Duties will include**:

- Assisting Doctors, Technicians and other personnel with the administration of medications or with restraining dogs and cats for procedures and treatments.
- Make sure cages and animals are properly identified.
- Cleans and sanitizes all cages, runs, and related areas.
- General cleaning and maintenance duties throughout the clinic (examination rooms/treatment area/front reception) to maintain a safe and sanitary environment.
- Wash and dry towels and blankets.
- Wash and sterilize water and food bowls.
- To walk dogs several times a day to provide exercise and time for elimination of bowels and bladder

**Education**:

- Must have a High School Diploma or equivalency
- Animal Care Certificate would be an asset

Schedule:

- 10 hour shift

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Toronto, ON: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (preferred)

- This is a full-time position with shifts from 7am - 3pm and 12pm - 8pm Monday - Friday. Are you available to work either of these shifts on a rotation?

**Experience**:

- ACA/Veterinary Assistant: 1 year (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

- ACA/Veterinary Assistant Certification (preferred)
