**POSITION OVERVIEW**:
**Operation, Set-up, care & general maintenance of folding equipment**

**RESPONSIBILITIES / EFFORTS / WORKING CONDITIONS**:

- Set-up, run & maintain production on folding equipment striving to continually exceed all standards
- Maintain all equipment in good running condition & report/ document all maintenance or mechanical problems immediately so that appropriate action can be taken.
- Be proactive in area of preventative maintenance and training. Be available for all cross-training as per Senior Management instruction and use the training to operate different equipment as the business needs dictate
- Training and transference of knowledge to all junior operators and apprentices
- Follow all ISO guidelines & procedures as they pertain to the Our Quality policies and procedures.
- Operation of shop floor data collection systems for docket control. The updating daily of production logs and timesheets is mandatory
- Maintain highest level of housekeeping & organization in department and show leadership in his area.
- Observe all plant safety rules & regulations and show leadership in this area
- Perform other duties as required by Senior Management to meet client expectations or meet our business objectives

**QUALIFICATIONS / SKILLS REQUIRED**:

- Minimum 5 years in trade as a folder operator
- Grade 12, High school diploma preferred
- Strong oral, written & communication skills
- Must be a motivated, self starter

**Salary**: $20.00-$24.40 per hour

- Monday to Friday

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Scarborough, ON: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
