We have two (2) full-time vacancies for the position of Cook in Etobicoke, Ontario. We are looking for individuals who are motivated and willing to perform a range of tasks.

**Job Duties**:

- Preparing ingredients for the shift; washing vegetables, chopping, seasoning meat, etc.
- Prepare and cook complete dishes as per customer orders
- Prepare meats for cooking different dishes as per the requirements on a daily basis
- Cook rice, vegetables and side dishes and prepare the special sauce as per our recipes
- Schedule employees, supervise kitchen helpers and oversee kitchen operations
- Reordering stock and food supplies as per the requirements
- Control food wastage
- Plan menus, determine the size of food portions, estimate food requirements and costs
- Train staff in preparation, cooking and handling of food
- Inspect kitchens and food service areas
- Assure kitchen, work areas and equipment is clean and sanitized as per the health standards
- Supervise kitchen staff and helpers
- Ability to work as part of a team

- Ability to deal with stressful situations
- Must be flexible to work any shift and any day of the week.

**Minimum Requirements**:

- Must have at least two years experience working as a Cook with a well-established restaurant/hotel
- A diploma in cooking/hospitality from a recognized institute is required
