**Location**: Calgary AB.
**Status**: Permanent, Full-Time
**Schedule**: This position operates Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:30 with overtime and on-call duties as required. This position will be based in Calgary AB, however may require some out of town work. Evening & Night work may also be required on a per-job basis

**About the Positions**:
**Responsibilities**
- Monitor daily traffic control schedules and mobilize resources effectively.
- Support supervisors with calls, site meetings, and operational issues, including rotational on-call support for technician questions.
- Lead crews in the setup, operation, and takedown of work zones to OSS standards.
- Delegate assignments and support crew development through coaching and mentorship (Levels 1-3).
- Assist with training and onboarding of new hires.
- Crosstrain and provide introductions to job planning, estimates, drawings, permits, and scheduling.
- Lead hazard assessments and enforce safe work practices.
- Inspect and audit work zones for compliance, correcting deficiencies immediately.
- Complete site inspections and Behavior-Based Safety (BBS) observations on a weekly basis.
- Ensure paperwork, equipment logs, and timesheets are completed and submitted accurately (up to 6 direct reports on UKG).
- Maintain trucks, tools, and rental equipment in clean, safe working order.
- Perform all regular duties of a traffic technician.
- Ensure any work zone deficiencies are corrected in timely manner.
**Qualifications**:
- **Previous supervisory and/or traffic control experience is required**.
- Ability to drive a one ton flat-deck truck.
- Must successfully complete drug and alcohol and fit test. **_*Note: This includes the use of marijuana, medical or non. As this is a safety sensitive position there is a zero tolerance policy in place for cannabis use*_**.
- **Valid Class 5 Driver’s License is required**.
