An Operation Agent/Dispatcher will also liaise with aircraft flight crews, third-party service providers, customers, and local authorities.

A Dispatcher will also liaise with aircraft flight crews, third-party service providers, customers, and local authorities.

Job Description Summary:
Ensures a safe work environment by following all Company and customer rules and regulations regarding the workplace.
- Optimize the aircraft handling process by guiding ramp activities to ensure a safe and efficient flight handling process.
- Perform various safety audits and observations ensuring procedural compliance.
- Support flight operations by coordinating services and ensuring they are performed according to customer standards and procedures.

- Arrange various crew handling like transport, calling time of crew and other crew related matters.
- Ensure proper control, compilation, and storage of flight paperwork according to customer procedures and requirements.
- Reporting of accidents, incidents, and injuries.
- Reporting of flight concerns.
- Assist ramp personnel with ground handling duties as needed.

**Requirements**:

- 19 years of age
- High school/GED
- Must be able to pass a background check, and able to obtain and maintain a Restricted Area Identification Card (RAIC)
- Must be able to lift a minimum of 32 kgs and push a wheelchair with an adult in it
- Continuously stand and walk for 6-8 hours
- Be able to bend, stretch, twist, squat, and reach out with the body, arms, and/or legs
- Must be able to work various shifts and days of the week. Airlines are 24/7, so we require our team to be flexible to work various shifts including nights, weekends and holidays
- Must possess reliable transportation to work
- Must attend every day of pre-employment training. All prospective agents must pass training to continue on with employment

Pay: $26.00 per hour

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
- Evening shift
- Holidays
- Monday to Friday
- Morning shift
- Night shift
- Weekend availability

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Richmond, BC: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

Work Location: In person
