Edmonton, Canada Western Truck Body Mfg. Full time

Western Truck Body Mfg. has immediate openings for experienced Yard, Shipping & Receiving staff. This position is responsible for maintaining yard organization; load/unload trucks, shipping and receiving of parts and equipment, stocking shelves and picking parts for internal and external customers. Western Truck Body Mfg., a subsidiary of Federal Signal, has been a leader in the manufacturing of custom aluminum service truck bodies and accessories for over 60 years.

**Requirements**:
Current Forklift ticket with a minimum of 3 years experience
Clean driver’s abstract (non GDL)
Minimum 1-year previous yard experience required
Must have an exacting eye for detail
Good communication skills
Must have a positive “can do” attitude and the ability to work in a team environment

**Duties to include**:
Shipping/receiving duties
Picking parts, decks, truck bodies, equipment, etc. for internal and external customers;
General housekeeping duties in shop and yard: empty garbage and recycle bins, snow removal/cut grass, etc.
Vehicle management: refueling/cold weather start/boost and end of day lock up
Other tasks as required

**Work Conditions**:
Fast paced environment, must be able to work under pressure with minimum supervision
Handling heavy loads
Physically demanding
Perform tasks in a multi temperature environment

Own transportation (public transportation not available)
References
A current clean drivers abstract and current forklift ticket required for interview

**Salary**: Competitive wage, dependent on experience
Monday to Friday day shift
Full benefit package after 90 days
