As the Parking Photo Enforcement Officer, you will be responsible for analyzing field-acquired photographic evidence, issuance of infraction notices, their distribution, and attendance to court to represent the city in disputed ticket cases. In this position, you will utilize the in-house built Park Plus system - which employs license plate recognition and GPS-assisted camera technologies in conjunction with zone mapping and integrated payment services to implement parking policies and provide parking services. The position is required to focus and work in front of a computer for extensive periods of time. Primary duties include:

- Analyse and validate field-acquired photographic observations ensuring they meet the criteria for a potential bylaw infraction.
- Issue parking infraction notices after verifying payment information.
- Generate, print, fold and prepare infraction notices, violation tickets and warning notifications for mailing.
- Issue applicable Bylaw infraction notices.
- Review all issued infraction notices.
- Prepare court documents and testify in court as required.

**Qualifications**
- A High school diploma or GED, and at least 1 year of related experience.
- Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint) is required.
- Data entry/data keying experience is required.
- The ability to acquire a Bylaw Appointment is required.
- The following are considered an asset.
- Prior Municipal Bylaw enforcement experience.
- Prior experience of testifying in court for the purpose of Law/Bylaw enforcement.
- Knowledge of Calgary's Traffic and Parking Bylaws.
- Working knowledge of Park Plus software.
- Working knowledge of the Bylaw Infraction Tracking System (BITS) software
- Success in this position requires a good attention to detail and accuracy in the keying of information into systems.

Compensation: Pay Grade 7 $35.45 - 47.43 per hour (2025 Rates)
Days of Work: This position typically works a 5 day work week, Monday - Friday (7:30am - 3pm)

Hours of work: Standard 35 hour work week
