**Job Summary**

**Duties**
- Prepare and cook a variety of meals according to established recipes and menu specifications.
- Ensure all food is prepared in accordance with food safety and handling regulations.
- Assist in the planning of menus and daily specials, considering seasonal ingredients and customer preferences.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including proper storage of food items.
- Monitor food inventory levels and assist with ordering supplies as needed.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure efficient service during peak hours.
- Help train new kitchen staff on cooking techniques and food safety practices.
- Participate in regular kitchen meetings to discuss menu changes, customer feedback, and team performance.

**Requirements**:

- Proven experience as a Cook in a restaurant or similar food service environment.
- Strong knowledge of meal preparation techniques and food safety standards.
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well within a team.
- Familiarity with various cooking methods, ingredients, equipment, and procedures.
- A passion for the culinary arts and commitment to providing exceptional service.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends as needed.

Pay: From $17.40 per hour

Expected hours: 24 - 40 per week
