We are looking to hire a passionate Adult dance fitness instructor to join our vibrant health and fitness centre.

You will be responsible for teaching and training a dynamic group of adult students in a range of techniques and dance styles, ensuring that all students are engaged, motivated, and inspired to achieve their fitness goals through dance

You are responsible for creating your own class structure, and giving verbal instructions to the students to follow. In addition to creating the class curriculum, a dance fitness instructor prepares musical accompaniment for each exercise.

**Responsibilities**:

- Ability to teach using various dance styles and methodologies from beginner to advanced level.
- Develop dance curriculums and prepare lesson plans.
- Ability to communicate with a diverse group of students.
- Engage, encourage, and motivate students to reach their goals.
- Evaluate student performance and make recommendations for improvement.
- Choreograph routines and select music for classes
- Conduct group and private lessons as required.
- Provide a fun and creative environment.
- Keep up to date in your discipline and implement any changes to the dance routines and curriculum as needed.

**Requirements**:

- Bachelor's degree in dance or qualification from an accredited college.
- Previous teaching experience
- Excellent communication skills.
- Energetic, driven, creative, and dependable.
- Demonstrate patience and leadership skills.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent

**Salary**: $25.00-$50.00 per hour

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Toronto, ON M1P 2B8: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (preferred)

**Experience**:

- Group fitness instructor: 1 year (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

- Certified Fitness Instructor/PT Certification/dance cert (preferred)
