Eastern College Inc. is actively seeking an **Early Childhood Education Instructor** to teach in a **remote environment.**

The primary purpose of the Instructor position is to plan, organize and deliver curricula to students in an instructor led environment remotely. The Instructor will be responsible to teach and facilitate courses to classes of students in the Early Childhood Education diploma program. The instructor will evaluate student performance relating to the curricula using a variety of assessments.

The Early Childhood Education Instructor will support the vision, mission, and values of Eastern College while contributing to a positive, supportive and student-focused team environment of respect, integrity, dedication and readiness, embracing diversity and fostering inclusion.
- College diploma or university degree in a related field (Teaching, Early Childhood Education, etc.) is required.
- Five (5) years of related work experience in an early childhood education environment is required.
- University degree in a related field is considered an asset.
- A degree or diploma in adult education is considered an asset.
- Understanding of Adult Learning Principles is preferred.
- Teaching experience in an online environment is considered an asset.
- Knowledge of D2L Brightspace or another learning management system is considered an asset.
- Home office set-up, reliable internet and a place to work without interruption are required

**Hours of Work**:
This is a **part-time contract** position. The hours for the position will be **1:00pm - 5:00pm Monday to Friday.**

The start date for this position is **immediate.**

This is an **entirely remote position.**
