**Opportunity**:
We are seeking a motivated and curious individual to join our Executive and Professional practice as a Summer Intern. This four month paid internship offers a deep dive into the world of commercial underwriting.

You will:

- Learn how to evaluate and underwrite risk while gaining exposure to: Directors and Officers Liability (D&O), Errors & Omissions (E&O), Employment Practices Liability (EPL), Fiduciary Liability, Crime/Fidelity, and Cyber Insurance.
- Gain exposure to the insurance lifecycle and the broader commercial market.
- Collaborate with experienced underwriters and cross-functional teams.
- Participate in real-world projects that impact our customers and business.
- Collaborate with BHSI Interns across North America.

You will be part of a dynamic and supportive underwriting team that values collaboration, innovation, and continuous learning. Your work will directly contribute to protecting our clients’ assets and ensuring the profitability of our portfolio.

**What You will Learn**:

**Qualifications**:

- Interest in insurance, underwriting, market trends or pursuing a degree in a relevant field (e.g., Business, Finance, Risk Management, Economics, Accounting).
- Analytical and detail-oriented, with strong problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in math, statistics, probability and financial principles, good understanding of financial markets and analysis.
- Effective communicator and team player.
- Adaptable, self-motivated, and eager to learn.
