Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated and organized individual to join our team as an Assistant Manager. The Assistant Manager will assist the Store Manager in overseeing daily operations and ensuring excellent customer service. **Duties**:

- Provide exceptional customer service and resolve any customer issues or complaints
- Assist in supervising and training staff members, ensuring they adhere to company policies and procedures
- Assist in creating work schedules and assigning tasks to team members
- Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with the Store Manager for restocking
- Assist in visual merchandising and maintaining store cleanliness
- Handle cash transactions and ensure accuracy in cash handling procedures
- Assist in budgeting and financial management, including tracking sales and expenses
- Collaborate with the Store Manager to develop strategies for increasing sales and achieving targets
- Utilize effective communication skills to build relationships with customers and promote loyalty

**Requirements**:

- High school diploma or equivalent; some college coursework preferred
- Previous experience in a retail or customer service role
- Bilingual skills (multilingual preferred) to effectively communicate with diverse customers
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize responsibilities
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly and approachable demeanor
- Proficient in basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: From $21.00 per hour

Expected hours: 35 - 40 per week

**Education**:

- Secondary School (preferred)

**Experience**:

- Microsoft Office: 1 year (preferred)
- Retail management: 1 year (required)

**Language**:

- French (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

- Driving Licence (preferred)
