Assistant Manager

We are looking for a professional and customer service-oriented Assistant Manager to help oversee the daily operations of our pool and hot tub store. As the Assistant Manager, you function as backup for the Store Manager in all respects. Your duties will include undertaking administrative tasks, monitoring inventory levels, identifying parts, and developing business strategies.

- Possess exceptional communication skills that allow you to communicate effectively with a variety of customers.
- Basic pool and hot tub knowledge would be an asset.
- Weekend work is required.
- Ability to lift a minimum of 50 lbs.
**Assistant Manager Responsibilities**:
- Assist our retail customers with water tests, finding equipment, chemicals and accessories to meet their Pool and Spa needs.
- Answer incoming customer calls regarding pools, hot tubs, accessories, and service.
- Interacting with customers to identify parts and service needs.
- Developing quotes and converting them into sales.
- Delegating and directing tasks, monitoring the progress of current projects, and ensuring the team's objectives are met.
- Handling customer complaints or concerns quickly and professionally to maintain good customer relationships and ensure repeat customers.
- Performing administrative tasks, such as managing and updating invoices, processing new orders, and tracking inventory.
- Assist with scheduling external service and maintenance orders
- Resolving problems and improving methods to increase productivity and customer service.
- Documenting processes and procedures and training new employees.
- Maintaining a strong working knowledge of industry regulations, restrictions, and laws, ensuring the company's adherence to these regulations, and remaining current on the industry's standards and new innovations, materials, tools, and processes.
- Maintain online webstore inventory database
- Create business strategies to attract new customers, expand store traffic, and enhance profitability.
- Ensure store compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Develop and arrange promotional material and in-store displays.
- Provide backup to key functions of the Store Manager.
Pay: $45,000.00-$50,000.00 per year
