**Job description**

We are looking for a Pickup Truck Plow Operator to join our team. We need an experienced operator to run a plow route with a mix of commercial, industrial and residential properties. Light shovelling will be required and so the applicant must be physically fit.

**PLEASE NOTE: SNOW REMOVAL IS HARD. Shifts last 12 - 20 hours often and there is no predictability to the weather and work hours.**

Highlights
- 20 hours minimum pay weekly, you work 10 hours and get paid for 20
- **Most of the shift will involve shovelling**:

- Operating a 3/4 or 1 Ton pickup truck with a plow and salter, Sidewalk machine, snow shovels and blowers

Plow Operator Responsibilities
- On call work
- 24/7, no holidays off
- Very long shifts
- Plowing
- Salting

Plow Operator Qualifications
- Must be a confident Driver
- Driver’s license with a clean record
- Experience with any form of contracting or equipment operating is an asset
- Ability to lift 60 pounds
- Excellent stamina and physical health
- Ability to work in miserable, cold outside conditions for long periods of time
- Proficient in English
- Verbal and communication skills

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time

**Salary**: $23.00-$30.00 per hour

- 12 hour shift
- Day shift
- Morning shift
- Night shift
- On call

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Guelph, ON: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
