Site Superintendent

We are seeking an **Intermediate/Senior Site Superintendent** to join our team and oversee high-profile commercial office interior projects across the Greater Toronto Area. This is an exciting opportunity for experienced professionals with **5-10+ years** of site management experience who are ready to take on more responsibility, lead complex projects, mentor junior staff, and play a critical role in the successful delivery of commercial office interiors.

In this senior-level role, you will oversee all on-site construction activities, including managing multiple projects, leading a team of subcontractors, and ensuring that projects are delivered on time, within budget, and with the highest standards of quality. You will work directly with project managers and key stakeholders, tackling challenges with strategic solutions and ensuring smooth project execution from start to finish.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Lead & Manage Complex Projects**: Take full ownership of site operations across multiple office interior projects. Manage project timelines, budgets, and resources while ensuring the highest standards of quality and safety are met.
- **Strategic Problem-Solving**: Proactively address potential project risks and obstacles, providing effective solutions to ensure project success. Make critical decisions regarding project scope, cost, and resources.
- **Team Leadership & Mentorship**: Lead and mentor junior staff, including Assistant Superintendents and Site Coordinators, fostering professional growth and ensuring best practices on-site.
- **Collaboration with Senior Stakeholders**: Partner with project managers, senior leadership, clients, and subcontractors to align project goals, communicate updates, and resolve any issues that may arise.
- **Quality Control & Compliance**: Oversee quality control measures, conduct detailed inspections, and ensure all work meets specifications, safety regulations, and building codes.
- **Client & Stakeholder Communication**: Serve as the primary point of contact for clients and consultants, maintaining clear and proactive communication throughout the project lifecycle, and ensuring that expectations are managed and met.

**What We’re Looking For**:

- **Experience**:

- **Intermediate/Senior Role**: 5-10+ years of experience as a Site Superintendent, with a proven track record in managing multiple, large-scale commercial office interior projects.
- **Leadership**: Strong experience in leading project teams, coordinating multiple stakeholders, and managing projects from start to finish. Previous experience mentoring junior staff is a key asset.
- **Problem-Solving & Decision-Making**: Ability to anticipate challenges and provide timely, strategic solutions to keep projects on track.
- **Skills**: Strong organizational and leadership skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage competing demands. Excellent communication skills for collaborating with senior stakeholders and clients.
- **Safety & Regulatory Knowledge**: Deep understanding of safety protocols, building codes, and relevant construction regulations.
- **Project Focus**: Proven experience with office interior projects, with a focus on high-quality, fast-paced environments.

**Salary & Location**:

- **Salary**:$100,000 to $135,000+** (flexible depending on experience and qualifications).
- **Location**: Office based in Vaughan, with site positions at project locations across Toronto and the Greater Toronto Area (GTA).
