**In this role, you will**: - Coordinate multiple projects simultaneously - Coordinate and supervise multiple trades, including scheduling and planning crew activities for the project. - Distribute change notices/instructions to sub-trades, and compile pricing for the project manager - Assist with ordering construction materials - Perform additional work and responsibilities as assumed or requested by the Project Management Team - Assist in preparing, maintaining, and distributing project documentation such as meeting minutes, RFI's, change orders, site instructions, etc. - Maintained safety records and performed basic safety documentation audits. - Procure pricing from sub-contractors and suppliers related to each revision in a timely manner and include in final values prior to Project Manager review - Coordinating construction work according to priorities and plans - Allocating general and daily responsibilities - Assist in developing construction schedule and site management plan - Review in advance the set up including enclosures, offices, access, and utilities - Monitors and implement efforts to maintain schedules - Monitors good housekeeping and maintenance of the site management plan - Ensures site safety program is adhered to by ALL parties throughout the entire site and the entire construction schedule - Coordinates all activity between trades and suppliers - Maintains daily comprehensive logs and ensures effective site meetings - Ensures trades maintain updated 'As Built" Commissioning, Occupancy, and Warranty Programs - Co-ordinates and implements procedures with all governing authorities and consultants to obtain the scheduled occupancy permit - Ensures a construction inspection and deficiency rectification program is implemented and completed prior to the in-suite PDI (Pre-Delivery Inspection) - Continually pursues cost-effective alternatives to improve financial performance - Plan, organize, direct, control, and evaluate construction projects from start to finish according to schedule, specifications, and budget - Develop and implement quality control programs - Prepares progress reports and issues progress schedules - Ensures work is performed and communicated in compliance with 6ixBuild Health and Safety Program, Occupational Health and Safety Act, and WSI Act - Attends Health and Safety training as required - Ensure all new workers receive a workplace-specific Health and Safety Orientation - All other duties with the scope, spirit, and purpose of the role as requested by Management. **We would like you to have**: - Degree or Diploma in Civil/Construction Engineering, - Minimum of 5 years of Construction Project Coordination, Site Foreman or Junior superintend experience with a General Contractor - Proven experience handling projects valued up to $5 Million and above - Ability to provide simultaneous support for needs across multiple projects in varying phases - Strong analytical and detail oriented skills are critical, along with exceptional time management and problem solving skills - The ability to multi-task between on-site and in office administrative work - Travel to various sites/locations will be required. - Indoor and outdoor environments; various weather conditions. - Weekend and evening work may be required to meet the demands of the position. - Excellent communication skills, both orally and written - Self-motivated with strong interpersonal skills to effectively interact with all teams and levels in the organization - Willingness to travel; - A valid driver’s license, G Driver’s License is a must, **Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent **Salary**: $50,000.00-$80,000.00 per year **Benefits**: - On-site parking - Paid time off Flexible Language Requirement: - French not required Schedule: - Monday to Friday - On call - Weekends as needed Ability to commute/relocate: - GTA, ON: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required) **Experience**: - Canadian construction: 1 year (required) Work Location: In person
