JOB DESCRIPTION:
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Collaborate with corporate sales and budget objectives to formulate an annual sales plan.
- Proactively seek out sales prospects, targeting new accounts to enhance Qplus' sales and brand recognition.
- Follow up on leads and referrals, delivering presentations, proposals, and sales contracts as needed.
- Acquire the technical knowledge essential for promoting Qplus' products effectively.
- Address and resolve client concerns, ensuring exemplary customer service.
- Coordinate with internal sales personnel to facilitate the closure of sales.
- Provide regular updates on sales territory activities to the General Manager.
- Attend sales meetings and, if necessary, participate in marketing events such as seminars and trade shows.
- Contribute to the development and ongoing improvement of the overall sales business plan.
- Other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE:
- A minimum of 3 years of sales experience in the lighting industry, with a focus on LED lighting sales.
- Preferably, experience in retrofit lighting.
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing or related field preferred.
- Strong expertise in LED lighting and controls.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, along with effective presentation and negotiation abilities.
- Proven track record of high sales performance, including meeting/exceeding sales targets, or very recognizable sales skills
- Comfortable communicating with individuals at all levels of an organization, from top-level executives to field personnel.
- Diplomacy and respect in handling challenging situations.
- Strategic and organized approach to achieving goals and targets.
- Proficient in computer skills, with a strong practical knowledge of Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, & PowerPoint).
- Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills and the ability to prioritize multiple tasks.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality of proprietary and sensitive business information.
- Valid driver’s license & insurance.

**Salary**: $3,000.00-$8,000.00 per month
